Considering buying a rental property?

I am toying with the idea of buying a rental property as an investment. I don't know much about the process or about the rules/laws for owning rental property. Who would we go to for information...........the bank........a real estate agent........a lawyer.........I have no idea where I should start?
Also, do you think owning a rental property is really that profitable?

RE: Considering buying a rental property?

Grace,

There are plenty of opportunities in the Tucson market for an affordable rental property that will give decent to outstanding returns. For a list of homes and multi-family units (duplex/triplex/4plex/apt) shoot me a PM and I can help you start looking.

RE: Considering buying a rental property?

Yes, rental property investing can be especially profitable if you know what you are doing and are in it for the long haul.

There are a ton of fantastic books on the subject that I would read before/while you are looking. However, do not simply take a realtor's word for it that it is a good investment. Do your due diligence. The realtor is motivated by the sale, not by whether or not it makes a good investment for you.

You will want to make sure you have your forms in order too. You want an Arizona State specific rental agreement.

RE: Considering buying a rental property?

Real estate or property is usually one of the most valuable acquisitions we make in our lives. For some it comes in only once while few others it can happen many times. A mistake in a property purchase is usually a very frustrating experience due to the complexity in real estate laws all over the world and especially in India. We ensure that all the real estate and property options offered on this website are verified to ensure the legal due diligence of the property is in place. Further we ensure the developers have been verified and a good track record before their projects are offered through us.
